Investors Application
Investor Applicants must:
• Show that they have business experience
• Have a minimum net worth of at the least $800,000
• Make an investment of $400,000
The $400,000 is managed by the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada and returned without interest after a period of on or about 5 years after payment.
To be eligible under the Immigrant Investor Program, you must:
• Have at the least two years of business experience
• Have a net worth of at the least $800,000 and be willing to investment $400,000
• Meet the selection criteria for investors
The investment requirement of $400,000 may be made directly to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or may be made through one of the facilitators.
The facilitators are financial institutions approved to participate in the Investor Program. The facilitators can also, subject to satisfaction of criteria, finance the investment amount of $400,000 to be made to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
